I've put Together some black friday deals from Amazon for home automation. For disclosure, I own a raspberry Pi and an Ecovacs Deebot 710 (purchased on Prime day). The other three I haven't personally tested myself though I have played around with the Bose sunglasses and I own a pair of Bose headphones. Lets get stuck in......
For anyone who wants to automate things, the raspberry pi is a great starting point. If you're a bit like me and you like to be able to customise your software and mainly use open source formats then this is for you. There's a huge community of support for several projects including home entertainment servers, smart home servers using HASS.IO or Openhab and also for retro gaming.
I've tried these out at an electronics store and they give great sound. I also have a pair of Bose wireless noise cancelling headphones which I've been really happy with for around five years. I trust the Bose brand for quality and longevity. The downside of these from what I can see is that you don't want to be wearing sunglasses all the time. I doubt you'd want to be wearing these at your work from home desk or while watching TV for instance. These are probably a luxury rather than a necessity for sound.
I purchsed this a couple of months ago and can honestly say I'm really happy with it. We send the vacuum around three times a week and it keeps our two bed apartment nice and clean. The cycle takes around an hour and it's really easy to empty the dust box and get the tangled hairs out of the brushes. The mop attachment is not so great. It won't stop you needing to mop because it's not all that efficient. I'd recommend this due to the price point and the dual use. Having siad that, I've never owned roomba or any other robot vac so other makes and models may be a better bet.
I haven't tried this out but it looks like a fairly cheap way of turning any TV into a smart TV and also integrate some other devices. With an Alexa remote you can control compatible smart home appliances as well as your TV. The great thing about this is it has expressvpn as an app which means I can watch UK tv while overseas. One of the downsides it seems is the resolution, being HD rather than 4K. This is where the new Google Chromecast could edge it for longevity. Still a very useful bit of kit.
These are tried and tested smart speakers. Ive been very tempted to buy some over the years but can't decide if they're really necessary for me. You can sync up several speakers for stero output and are compatible with all the major smart phones and devices. I haven't owned any of these so again, I can't speak from experience but these are a trusted brand in the audio space for home automation.
