My Mission Statement

My mission with this blog is to create a space where anyone who has begun the journey of home automation can come for advice, tips and resources to help them on their way. I'm a DIY enthusiast so I want to point people in the right direction to help them on their way.

I have a clipsal C-Bus lighting system and it took several weeks for me to integrate it correctly with openhab on a raspberry pi server and have my lighting control on my smart phone app.

Moving forward I will be creating automated scripts to switch my lights on in the evening, control my climate with reverse cycle air con and weather information and customise lighting set ups with my home entertainment.
